Medellin time zone
The Medellin timezone is fairly easy to figure out, especially if you're coming from the U.S. In a nutshell it is as follows: Medellin = GMT -5 hours.(EST) Eastern Standard Time In other words; same as New York in the winter or: 5 hours behind London in winter (during daylight saving). ie. London = 6pm; Medellin is 1pm. If coming from the West coast of the U.S., from Los Angeles for example, then there is a 3 hours time difference. In other words, if it is 1pm in Los Angeles, it is 4 pm in Medellin. Me being European, it actually makes life a lot easier communicating with people via Skype when in Medellin instead of the West coast of the U.S. where I am from. However, for trading stock etc., on the New York Stock Exchange, it's an ideal location. All of Colombia is on the same time.
