Medellin is diversified in all senses. Rich in color, sites, varying neighborhoods and economies, this is a complex and fascinating city that takes time to get to know.

Gradually, I am coming to know and understand its charming people, their history and the present. It would be a mistake for me to assume this is a simple place. It's not.

The city has seen tough times and I believe that a lot of strength and humility has grown from this. There's a lot to be learned here.

The beautiful surrounding landscape promises experiences of adventure and sports such as golf, hiking, paragliding and white water rafting.

Hotels extend first-rate service, amenities and value for money. Restaurants are affordable, varying from tasty Colombian to Italian, Chinese and Japanese.

There are direct flights to Miami and New York and only 35 minutes by plane to the capital Bogota that connects directly to several European destinations.

Colombia is changing. The economy is booming, safety levels rising greatly and the standard of living on the increase.
