Feria de las Flores (Festival of the Flowers) July 28 - August 7

This is a busy and extremely colorful flower parade lasting over a week and is one of the largest horticultural events in the world.

Colombiamoda (Medellin fashion week)

Colombiamoda is one of the largest fashion events in South America and held in Medellin due to itīs huge textile industry.

Alumbrados Medellin (Medellin Christmas Lights)

This rather spectacular spectacle of literally millions of lights along the Medellin river, is both beautiful and fascinating. During Christmas, you can walk at night by the river and take in the show, much of which is in motion; a bit like an animated light show. Itīs very peaceful and worth the visit.
